Art and Craft Workshop Inspires Students Ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi
In a bid to foster creativity and artistic skills among students, a special workshop titled "Art and Craft - Majha Bappa" was organized at Wagh Guruji Bal Shikshan Mandir in Nashik. The event, jointly hosted by the school (run by Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj) and 'Yuva (Navneet) Company', took place in August 2025, ahead of the festive occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The workshop was attended by students of Wagh Guruji Bal Shikshan Mandir, school Principal Landage Madam, all teachers, and an art teacher from Sharda Kanya Vidyalaya, Bhalerao Sir, who guided the students in drawing and coloring Ganpati pictures.
The organisers aimed to enhance artistic skills among the students, inspire latent talents through drawing and painting of Ganpati Bappa with imagination, and promote all-round development of students via cultural and artistic activities related to Ganesh Chaturthi. A key feature was the provision of free painting kits by Yuva Company to all participating students, facilitating their creative expression in the workshop.
Kalpesh Ulalkar, Branding Officer of the Youth Company, Nashik Division Manager Gorakhnath Patil, and Senior Manager Ambadas Patil also attended the workshop. The organisers expressed that the 'Majha Bappa' workshop has inspired the latent talents of the students, and such activities lead to their all-round development.
