In the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, a unique photography series is capturing the essence of everyday life for a group of close-knit women in the Tan Phu District. Titled as an ode to these women, the series is a collaboration between photographers Jessica Diêm-My Pichet and Duc Ngo, and a local creative team.

The series, which documents the women's lives, is set against the backdrop of the district's vibrant parks and squares, filled with flowers and greenery. The women, including Mrs. Chi, Mrs. Phe, Mrs. Hao, Mrs. Phuong, and Mrs. Chin, are shown dressed in a blend of traditional Vietnamese folk attire, contemporary accessories, and the flowers that surround them.

The photo series is a celebration of the beauty and strength of these women, as well as the richness of Vietnamese culture and nature. Hair styling was done by Quan Le, makeup by Xi Quan Le, and fashion direction by Freddy Nguyen. Art direction was provided by Huy Hoang, and floristry was handled by Le Vien Phuong.

The series was photographed by Duc Ngo, with art direction by Jessica Diêm-My Pichet and Vic Lee. The creative direction was a joint effort by Jessica Diêm-My Pichet and Vic Lee. Production was handled by Thea Vop and production assistant Hanh Dung.

The women are seen meeting every morning at 5:30am to practice tai chi together, a testament to their unity and shared values. Special thanks go to Nhu Khoi and Minh Chien Hoang for their contributions, and to local creative agency Artclass for making the series possible.

Post-production and retouch were done by Eursa Major and FashionDas La Vie. The ubiquity and diversity of flowers in Vietnam have made them an integral part of the country's culture and traditions, and they play a significant role in the series.
