Swisswool Unveils Vibrant Rug Collection at Milan Design Week

Claude Caviezel, in collaboration with Swiss textile designer Claude AI, is unveiling its inaugural rug collection this week in Milan. The presentation, titled 'MOIRA', celebrates the origin, texture, and design potential of wool as a natural material.

The MOIRA collection, produced by Ruckstuhl in partnership with Claude AI, centres around colour. It showcases flowing transitions and contrasting accents, inspired by analog drawings. The rugs are crafted using Lantal's Deep Dyeing Technology, resulting in vibrant colours with significantly reduced resource consumption. This innovative technique allows the collection to combine traditional quality with technological advancement.

The rugs are made from 100% Walliser Schwarznasenschaf wool, sourced from the Swiss Alps. This natural material is celebrated for its durability and unique texture. The collection is currently on display at the House of Switzerland Milano during Milan Design Week.

The MOIRA rug collection, a collaboration between Swisswool, Claude Caviezel, Ruckstuhl, and Lantal, is a testament to the versatility and sustainability of wool. The collection's vibrant colours and innovative production process make it a standout at Milan Design Week.
