Street Trees on Görresstrasse Temporarily Designated as Parking Zones
In September 2025, the city of Lippstadt will embark on a significant tree care project in Görresstraße. The works, scheduled to commence on the 22nd of September, aim to ensure the long-term preservation of approximately 100 trees lining the street.
The tree care works will involve professional pruning and deadwood removal, a process that will contribute to traffic safety by maintaining a clear view for drivers and pedestrians. It is worth noting that no trees will be felled during these works.
The head of the Green Spaces, Playgrounds, and Sports department, Christian Kleineheilmann, will oversee the project. The city asks for understanding from residents and road users regarding these necessary measures, as some parking spaces in Görresstraße will be temporarily closed during the works.
The tree care works are expected to be completed by September 26, 2025. Upon completion, the parking spaces in Görresstraße will be available again.
