The City Museum Wiesbaden is hosting an extraordinary exhibition titled "LIMES - World Empire. World Heritage. Wiesbaden." to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO inscription of the Limes, which runs until August 10. This special exhibition showcases ancient Roman history and a diverse accompanying program around the longest cultural monument in Germany.

On August 10, the museum will host a series of events to mark the closing of the exhibition. The day begins with a family-friendly workshop inspired by ancient everyday life, from 2 to 4 p.m. Participants can join a hands-on workshop where children can craft a Roman mill game.

At 3 p.m., Dr. Daniel Burger-Völlmecke, the exhibition curator, will lead a final tour of the exhibition. Due to limited seating, it is advisable to book in advance.

From 4 to 5 p.m., the museum becomes a forum with a glass of champagne and Roman snacks, offering visitors a chance to mingle and discuss their favourite aspects of the exhibition.
