Small Town Bids Adieu to Old Home Week with Tribute Shows Featuring Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen
Took a gander at the upcoming Old Home Week in Smiths Falls, huh? Exciting times are ahead!
This bash only comes around every 25 years, and Christa Dales Donnelly, one of the festival's organizers, is hoping the whole darn town will jump in and celebrate. Mark your calendars for August 2 to 9, 'cause it's gonna be a wild ride!
You best believe the lineup's packed with fan favorites and fresh additions. There'll be an opening parade, a Wellness Fest, an out of this world drone show, Floatfest, a Night Shirt Parade, Riverbank Musicfest, and a closing performance to wrap it all up. Get ready for some local talent, some Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen tribute acts, and a heck of a farewell to Old Home Week, baby!
What's more? The community's really stepping up with events like a youth talent show, pickleball tournament, women's ball hockey tournament, a BBQ and corn hole competition, heritage walking tour, soap box derby, dodge ball tournament, reunion dance, pride homecoming gala—and that's just the tip of the iceberg!
