Meanwhile, the "Copa Cruise", an eco-friendly boat operated by the city of Vienna, has resumed sailing from April 18. The boat, which can accommodate 20 people, is partially powered by solar energy and sails from CopaBeach to the peaceful north of Danube Island. The "Copa Cruise" operates on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, and will also sail on Easter Monday.
Gerald Loew, head of the department of Vienna's waters, is proud of the 15-year history and 100,000-kilometer achievement of the mobile island service on Danube Island. This year, the service celebrates its 15th anniversary, having covered 100,000 kilometers since 2010. The mobile island service provides assistance, answers questions, and supports the community, making it an integral part of Danube Island.
As spring blooms on Danube Island, daffodils, apple and cherry blossoms, and fragrant thyme are in full bloom, signifying the arrival of the season.
