Hold onto your hats ‘cos the ASG Education Forum's unveiled an action-packed roster for the latter half of 2023! From nature enthusiasts chasing their garden paradise to Düsseldorf dwellers unearthing fresh city perspectives, and foodies diving into Jewish cuisine, the offerings are as diverse as can be.

In the realm of variety arts, October brings ventriloquism, and November, magic. Top that off with language courses, family programs, and keynote lectures, and you've got a smorgasbord of knowledge ready to be devoured.

ASG Chair, Dr. Samuel Olbermann, couldn't be more thrilled. "Our 69th year promises an electrifying program," he divine-y declares. "Extending two successful series from the beginning of the year – Nature-Lovers for an immersive nature exploration and Rebbetzin Kaplan's Jewish cooking sessions for holidays – we're also launching a series dedicated to Ukraine's plight."

October-November sees a Ukrainian artists collective's exhibition, "#standwithukraine," at Gerresheimer Straße 90, Flingern. Meanwhile, Steffen Dobbert shares insights from his book "Understanding Ukraine" on November 16, and November 5 offers a deep dive into Ukrainian cuisine.

{A word about ASG: ASG stands for the "Working Group for Social Pedagogy and Civic Education e.V.," and their Education Forum boasts multiple outposts across Düsseldorf, including the central office (Gerresheimer Straße 90), the Language Center (Münsterstraße 304), and the Fitness Hall (Münsterstraße 121). Besides these, there are three family centers – one each in Flingern, Oberkassel, and Rath.

ASG – a state-recognized non-profit organization in North Rhine-Westphalia – offers continuing education and free youth welfare services. The Archdiocese of Cologne and the city of Düsseldorf commission the ASG for public adult and family education initiatives.*
