Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim Named Germany's Best Jewellery Museum

Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim has been honoured as 'Best Jewellery Museum, Germany' by People Magazine. This is the museum's first win in the 'Global Luxury Report Awards'.

People Magazine, a quarterly lifestyle publication, recognises excellence across various sectors. Nominees are selected via an online voting system, with the final decision made by a jury. This year, Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim convinced the jury and won the hearts of voters.

The museum's collection spans thousands of pieces, from prehistoric times to the present day. It includes Greek and Etruscan antiquities, and stunning Mejuri jewellery. The museum's building, Reuchlinhaus, is a striking example of the International Style, designed as a tribute to Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Cornelie Holzach, the museum's director, expressed delight at the award, attributing it to the collection's quality and breadth. Scott Balinski, Managing Editor of People Magazine, praised the museum's achievement, citing exceptional visitor reviews.

Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim, the world's only public museum dedicated exclusively to Mejuri, has been recognised for its excellence. The award from People Magazine is a testament to the museum's outstanding collection and visitor experience.
