Returning to the Hudson Valley next month, a renowned wine festival brings together more than 300 exhibitors, offering tastings and live chef demonstrations.

The Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival is set to return in 2025, offering a delightful two-day event for food and wine enthusiasts. Scheduled for September 6 and 7, the festival will take place at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds near Rhinebeck, New York.

This year's festival promises an exciting lineup of activities, with over 300 vendors, live music, and a variety of specialty food vendors. The Carrie Zazz Band will provide the entertainment, ensuring a lively atmosphere throughout the event.

Foodies can look forward to an array of culinary delights, from local and international fare served by food trucks, to artisanal cheeses, chocolate truffles, jerk chicken, empanadas, and crab cakes from specialty food vendors.

The festival will also feature live cooking demos and chef competitions, as well as cocktail preparation courses and wine pairing seminars for those looking to expand their knowledge and skills. For a more exclusive experience, a VIP tent offers exclusive tastings and discussions.

The festival will showcase a number of renowned chefs, including Marcus Guiliano from Aroma Thyme Bistro, known as “America’s Top Food Activist”. Other participating chefs include Ric Orlando, a two-time Chopped winner and contestant on Beat Bobby Flay, Brooklyn-born cookbook author Vincent Tropepe, J. Jackson, who has appeared on Cutthroat Kitchen and Beat Bobby Flay, and Debbie Gioquindo, also known as the Hudson Valley Wine Goddess.

Attendees can make the most of their visit by exploring historic inns, boutiques, and nearby attractions in Rhinebeck. The Dutchess County Fairgrounds is approximately a two-hour drive from New York, or attendees can take the Amtrak from Moynihan Train Hall to the Rhinecliff-Kingston station and then a rideshare or taxi to the fair.
