Redesigned CASACOR São Paulo Living Spaces by Jardim Paulistano Landscaping

Chilling out in the Heart of São Paulo

Step into 2025, São Paulo — drop your daily grind and lose yourself in the serene oasis that is Helena Elias’s, Jardim Paulistano Paisagismo's masterpiece, Soul Garden. This sensory wonderland is nestled within Água Branca Park, one of São Paulo's grand green spaces, and is a testament to the designer's commitment to crafting harmonious escapes from the urban jungle.

Helena's vision for Soul Garden is deeply rooted in the duality of Yin Yang, shining through in a dance of textures, temperatures, and atmospheres. A meandering wooden deck forms the beating heart of the space, guiding you on a journey that leads you from light to shade, warmth to chill, and back again. Explore an invigorating sauna, rejuvenating ice bath, and crackling fire pit, as extensive physical and emotional wellness awaits.

The balance between precision and warmth is present throughout the Soul Garden. Iron structural elements showcase polished craftsmanship, sharp and ordered, contrasting with the softawn wood, mossy stone, and organic textures that surround. The exhibition’s flora is carefully chosen and nurtured, seamlessly blending with the pre-existing vegetation without disturbing the park’s sensitive ecosystem.

Helena Elias shares her awe of finding a lush forest upon arriving at Água Branca Park, her objective being to create a "tropical 'subforest.'" To make this a reality, she ventured to a plant nursery in Ilhéus, Bahia, bringing back over 500 native, exotic, and rare seedlings. The Soul Garden is a canvas of meticulously curated species that offers a breathtaking urban respite, transforming an arid environment into a thriving, welcoming sanctuary.

The Soul Garden invites you to connect not only with nature but with the park and CASACOR community itself. It is a momentary escape from reality, offering a space for reflection, relaxation, and dreams. As Helena Elias puts it, her garden is a place to "slow down and renew souls."
