After a long closure, work on the much-loved park in Gohlbachtal began in late January. The park is set to undergo a significant transformation, with several new features planned to enhance the visitors' experience.

The dilapidated wooden bridge, a familiar sight for many, has been demolished at the start of the renovation. This makes way for a modern, functional replacement, the construction of which is contingent on the delivery of all its parts.

The park renovation includes several exciting additions. A new viewing point with a staircase will offer breathtaking vistas of the surrounding landscape. For the younger visitors, a lizard-shaped toddler play area with elements for balancing, climbing, and sliding is being constructed at Hastedtplatz.

Fitness enthusiasts will also find something to their liking, as a fitness island is part of the planned renovation. This area will feature equipment for bodyweight training, including steppers and balance trainers, located west of the large playground.

Improvements to the dog run area entrances are still part of the park renovation plans, aiming to provide a more accessible and welcoming environment for pet owners.

As the construction progresses, the site is now secured with a construction fence to ensure safety for both visitors and workers. The park renovation, with its new viewing point, fitness island, lizard-shaped toddler playground, and improved dog run area entrances, promises to be a wonderful addition to the local community.

Stay tuned for more updates as the renovation continues!
