Nordstrom Local's latest brick-and-mortar location debuts in the borough of Brooklyn, marking the retailer's third such store in New York City.
The fashion retail giant, Nordstrom, has expanded its presence in New York City with the opening of a new Nordstrom Local store in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located at 154 N 7th St., the 3,000-square-foot store serves as a one-stop shop for Nordstrom shoppers to pick up online orders, return items, and enjoy a variety of convenient and community-oriented services.
The new store is designed to provide personalized service close to where customers live and work, enhancing convenience and community engagement. Key features and services available include online order pickup for both Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack purchases, easy and fast returns, alterations service, complimentary gift wrapping for Nordstrom purchases, and a clothing donation drop-off supporting the non-profit organization Housing Works.
In addition, the store participates in the Beautycycle program, allowing customers to drop off empty beauty product packaging for free recycling, and offers alteration services on purchases from Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, and other retailers.
Fanya Chandler, president of Nordstrom stores, stated that the new store offers more opportunities for Brooklyn customers to engage with Nordstrom services, reflecting Nordstrom's strategy to blend digital convenience with localized, sustainable retail experiences, emphasizing service and community connection over traditional retail inventory.
The store is the third Nordstrom Local in New York City, joining Nordstrom Local West Village and Nordstrom Local Upper East Side. It is part of Nordstrom's expansion in the New York City market and its strategy to offer services closer to where customers live and work.
Nordstrom Local Williamsburg is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday-Sunday. The store is expected to provide Brooklyn customers with more opportunities to engage with Nordstrom services and support local programs that make a meaningful impact in the community.
