New Main Cycling Route, rr12, to be Marked in Regensburg
The city of Regensburg is expanding its main cycle route network with the addition of a new continuous route, rr12. Scheduled for marking in the second half of September, this new route will connect two significant locations within the city: the BMW area in the south and Haslbach in the north.
The rr12 cycle route will pass through several well-known areas, including Max-Planck-Straße, the Odessa Ring, Pilsen Alley, and will benefit the district by connecting via the Herbert-Quandt-Allee. The responsible organization coordinating the marking of the new main cycling route rr12 is the city of Regensburg's municipal traffic or urban planning department.
The route's marking will feature the well-known signage with pictograms, already used on route rr05, ensuring easy navigation for cyclists. While the exact location of the rr12 cycle route passing through Neutraubling is not specified, it is known that the route will pass through this town.
Upon completion, the rr12 cycle route will connect the BMW area in the south with Haslbach in the northern part of the city, providing a convenient and eco-friendly mode of transportation for residents and visitors alike. The rr12 cycle route is part of the city's main cycle route network, further enhancing the city's commitment to sustainable mobility.
Stay tuned for more updates as the rr12 cycle route is marked and becomes accessible to the public. With this new addition, Regensburg continues to prioritise cycling as a viable and enjoyable mode of transportation.
