London Fashion Week SS26: Mustard Yellow, Chocolate Brown, and Pale Blue Steal the Show
London Fashion Week SS26 saw a vibrant display of colors, with mustard yellow, pale blue, and chocolate brown leading the way. Designers showcased their creativity with these hues, incorporating them into various garments and styles.
Mustard yellow was a standout color, favoured by many London designers. It added a pop of brightness to collections, seen in various garments like dresses and coats. Ashley Williams, for instance, presented a pale blue crinkled fabric dress with a natural-colored belt and sandals, offering a softer alternative.
Chocolate brown emerged as a stylish choice, providing a rich contrast to traditional black. Ahluwalia and Burberry's Daniel Lee both showcased this shade, with Ahluwalia presenting a mid-length trench coat and Burberry offering a leather coat with white stitching and wide lapels.
Pale blue was another prominent color, used in tailored, relaxed, and athletic looks. Marques'Almeida and Paul Costelloe both incorporated this shade into their designs, with Marques'Almeida presenting a chocolate brown taffeta mini dress with oversized puff sleeves and Costelloe showcasing a pale blue brocade cape with a floral print and two large buttons.
Chartreuse also made an appearance, used by designers such as Emilia Wickstead, Rory William Docherty, Simone Rocha, Burberry, Chopova Lowena, and Erdem. Talia Byre presented a pale blue zip front jacket with a hood and matching pleated floor-length skirt.
London Fashion Week SS26 offered a diverse range of colors, from luminous brights to soft pastels, chartreuse, and dark chocolate. Designers skillfully incorporated these shades into their collections, creating a vibrant and exciting fashion landscape.
