Lake-side family event to take place in June
Get Ready for ReinteGRaaaate: Sternberg's Family Festival is Back – and Better Than Ever!
Mark your calendars, folks, because the Family Festival at Sternberger Lake is making a grand return! After a (literally) soggy debut on Children's Day 2023, our much-awaited summer soiree has been rescheduled for the 29th of June, 2025. City Manager Kathrin Brünning announced the good news during her latest press conference.
If you haven't had the pleasure of joining us before, here's what you can expect: from 10 am to 4 pm, kids and grown-ups alike will enjoy an action-packed lineup designed to entertain and delight. Playgrounds and bounce houses await the energetic, pony rides will take the braver bunch for a spin, and food and drinks galore are on offer to replenish your strength. All of this, of course, is weather permitting.
The best part? Admission to the event remains absolutely free! Approximately 20 local clubs from Sternberg and the surrounding areas have united to bring this community extravaganza to life – all backed by the city and the social committee. So come, spend the day enjoying quality family time, delicious eats, and fantastic entertainment!
