IKEA slashes prices in numerous outlets, leading to a wave of excitement among consumers

In an effort to bring joy and financial relief to customers amidst rising living costs, global furniture giant IKEA has launched a promotion called "Happydays." This promotion, running throughout the summer until August 30, 2025, offers half-price deals on hot main dishes in IKEA restaurants.

However, it's important to note that the terms and conditions of this promotion vary by region and participation. In some countries, the offer is exclusive to IKEA Family members, while in others, it is open to all customers.

In Canada, for instance, the offer is indeed exclusive to IKEA Family members, with the 50% discount on select main dishes available from July 10 to the end of August. The deal applies only on weekdays and to certain main dishes.

In many other countries, the deal is broader, with restaurant meal prices being halved Monday through Friday, and children eating for free. However, in some markets, like Spain, an IKEA Family membership is required to receive half-price main meals, but this is only for Fridays.

It's crucial to check with your nearest IKEA to confirm if it is participating in the promotion and to understand the specific terms and conditions.

The promotion does not include discounts on snacks like hot dogs or drinks. The voucher given to all customers, not just IKEA Family members, is valid for all products available on the day it is received. Customers who spend €25 or more in the restaurant will receive a €5 voucher.

The promotion is aimed at providing a positive experience for customers, as a visit to the restaurant is considered part of the overall experience for many. IKEA believes that this promotion could pay off if weekend crowds continue until the end of summer.

Economic uncertainty has affected even large companies like IKEA, and they are fighting for survival. This promotion is one of the ways IKEA is attracting more customers to its restaurants.
