In the picturesque residential neighborhood of Nova Lima, south of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, stands the Linho House - a stunning architectural masterpiece designed by Tetro Arquitetura. Inspired by the creative practice of its fashion designer client, the Linho House is a testament to the art of stitching lives, fabrics, and spaces together.
The most distinctive design element of the Linho House is its curved, sculptural concrete roof, reminiscent of a white cloth stretched on a clothesline. This poetic roof element metaphorically translates the fashion designer's daily creative process into spatial experience.
The Linho House is divided into two distinct volumes organized by material and function. The upper floor accommodates social and communal spaces, including the living room, dining area, kitchen, gourmet zone, leisure area with pool and spa, all unified under the sweeping concrete roof, emphasizing openness and domestic scale.
In contrast, the lower level integrates private bedrooms clad in dark slate and timber brise-soleils, which shield the facade and harmonize the house with the hillside terrain.
The primary suite extends over the hillside with a balcony, marble bathroom, dressing area, gym, and sitting room, highlighting luxury mixed with nature. This expansive suite, adjoining a private sitting room and gym, embodies the art of creating connections much like sewing.
The exterior walls of the lower floor are clad in dark slate, while the east facade is shielded by timber brise-soleils. A ramp leads down from the access road to parking in the undercroft of the Linho House.

The Linho House features two sets of service cores, internal and external staircases leading downstairs, two separate sitting areas, and three dining spaces.
