Herbstkraftwerk Lünen: Students Compete, Win Cash Prizes in Craft Match
The second Herbstkraftwerk event in Lünen drew a large crowd to the city center on a beautiful day. The event, held on the market square, offered a varied and informative program tailored to students for career orientation. The highlight of the afternoon was a team match where school classes and sports clubs competed in craft tasks for cash prizes using the cash app.
The competition was fierce, with Heinrich-Bußmann School, Class 10b, emerging victorious and receiving 1,000 Euro from Volksbank Selm-Bork. Kaethe-Kollwitz Comprehensive School's 'Golden Hand' team came in second, securing 500 Euro from IKK classic. Gymnasium Altluenen, Class 9d, took third place and received 250 Euro from the Dortmund Chamber of Crafts. The event also saw new exhibitors, including the funeral services industry, showcasing their skills and services.
The event concluded with a raffle of prizes worth a total of 500 Euro, sponsored by Sparkasse an der Lippe. The main prize of the raffle was a city voucher worth 100 Euro.
