Halle (Saale) City seeks financial supporter for a canine recreation area within the city
In the city of Halle (Saale), a new opportunity for citizens to contribute to their community has been introduced. The city administration is now allowing individuals to sponsor dog runs, providing a unique way for dog lovers to take an active role in maintaining these public spaces.
The Citizen Participation Service Center of the city administration serves as the central point of contact for all sponsorship projects in Halle (Saale). Sponsors can reach out to them via phone at 0345 221 1115 or email at [email protected]. The Service Center will guide potential sponsors through the process and provide them with the necessary information.
Once selected as a sponsor, individuals will receive an ID card from the city, granting them access to their designated dog run. Sponsors act as a point of contact and mediator between dog owners and the administration, ensuring the dog run remains in order. They are expected to visit their dog run regularly to check for any damages or defects, which can be reported more quickly through the Service Center.
The city of Halle (Saale) takes care of major littering in the dog runs, but sponsors can perform minor maintenance tasks upon request, such as filling in holes. The scope of a dog run sponsorship is outlined in a sponsorship contract, which specifies the responsibilities of both the sponsor and the city administration.
Currently, there are 16 dog runs in Halle (Saale), some of which are fenced. Information about the new sponsorship opportunity can be found under the city's Services, and details about individual sponsorships can be found at www.halle.de and "here".
In addition to dog run sponsorships, there are various other sponsorship opportunities available in Halle (Saale), including bank, tree, playground, city flower beds, green spaces, and grave sponsorships. By sponsoring a dog run, citizens can contribute to the well-being of dogs and their owners, while also promoting a cleaner and more beautiful city.
