Giessen's Autumn Fair commences on the 27th of September
The much-anticipated Giessen Autumn Fair is set to return from September 27th to October 5th, 2025. This year's event, led by Mayor Frank-Tilo Becher, promises to be a meeting point for all generations, offering joy, community, and unforgettable experiences, according to CEO Frank Höhlscheidt.
The fairgrounds, located at Ringallee, will be bustling with a diverse range of attractions. Visitors can look forward to colourful rides, sweet treats, and special attractions such as "Robotix," "Music Express," "1001 Nights," a ghost train, "Frisbee" ride, "Crazy Construction Site" children's train, and a carousel for fairy tale land.
Family Day on October 2nd offers attractive discounts from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Amusement rides will have a 50% discount, and there will be at least a 20% discount on three selected articles or offers at other booths. Young fair visitors can participate in creative pumpkin carving with Clown Ichmael from the Circus Tent from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The day will culminate in a grand fireworks display around 9:00 PM, providing a spectacular end to the festivities. The fun doesn't stop there, as all rides will be free between 2:00 and 2:30 PM on the opening day.
Volunteers are an integral part of the Giessen Autumn Fair. On September 30th, 2025, it's Volunteer Day. Volunteers with a card can get a free ride on the Ferris wheel and a small snack.
For the smallest guests, the "Baby Flight" is available, ensuring everyone has a memorable experience. The Giant Wheel Mini Picnic on the Giant Wheel Ostsee Stern is another highlight, with free registration available on the Instagram channel giessen_entdecken starting September 23rd at 11:00 AM.
