Chef Robert Irvine Honours Military Community with Breaking Bread with Heroes
Chef Robert Irvine, a former British Royal Navy Veteran, recently paid a visit to Dyess Air Force Base in Texas, where he expressed his deep appreciation for the U.S. military community.
During his visit, Irvine took the pilot's seat in a C-130 flight simulator, guided by Captain Elizabeth Mahoney, an instructor pilot, and Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force JoAnne Bass. The chef also spent time speaking with KTAB/KRBC about his admiration for the military community.
The highlight of Irvine's visit was the Breaking Bread with Heroes program, a community-focused initiative by the Robert Irvine Foundation. Over 1200 meals were served to Dyess airmen and their families, providing an opportunity for connection and camaraderie.
