Ferrari collaboration launched by Hot Wheels through a Heritage Set, blending classic and contemporary designs.
In an exciting development for car enthusiasts, Hot Wheels and Ferrari have joined forces for a new collection of miniature cars. This partnership, announced recently, marks the first collaboration between the two brands in over a decade.
The upcoming releases for 2025 include the Hot Wheels F40 Competizione, Ferrari SF90 Stradale, and Ferrari 365 GTB4 Competizione as part of Hot Wheels' mainline 2025 series. These miniature versions can serve as an extension of actual vehicles owned by collectors.
The Hot Wheels x Ferrari Heritage Set is another highlight of the collection. This vintage-inspired set includes the Ferrari 250 GTO and Fiat 642 RN2 Bartoletti Transporter in a 1:64 scale. Additionally, the set features the models 312 P and 499P Modificata in the same scale.
The 1970 312 P miniature boasts a bright red Spectraflame coat, deep-dish Neo-Classics Redline wheels, racing number 25 on the doors and hood, and an engine cover that opens. On the other hand, the 499P Modificata miniature sports a Spectraflame rosso corsa body coat, racing number 24 on the hood and sides, pinstripes in the color of the Italian flag, 10-spoke Real Riders wheels, and a removable engine cover. The interior of the 1970 312 P miniature is deep red, while the interior of the 499P Modificata miniature is black.
For those interested in a more interactive experience, a remote-controlled version of the SF90 Stradale is expected to be released in June, priced at $20. This model is expected to be in a 1:64 scale, similar to the other miniatures in the collection.
Hot Wheels serves as a more affordable way for car enthusiasts to grow their arsenal of automobiles without spending large sums of money. The Hot Wheels x Ferrari Heritage Set, currently sold out on Mattel's website, is priced at $100.
To stay updated on future releases, check Hot Wheels' and Mattel's social media accounts. Additionally, for the most accurate pricing and release timing, checking with Hot Wheels retailers or official Hot Wheels announcements closer to the release dates is recommended.
The prices and exact release dates for the Hot Wheels x Ferrari releases are not yet specified. However, mainline Hot Wheels cars typically range in price from $1 to $5 USD in retail stores. The Hot Wheels Circuit Legends 2 set, containing multiple cars including rare variants, may be priced higher, likely in the range of $15–30 USD depending on the retailer and edition rarity.
The Ferrari SF90 Stradale (J Case) is already available at major retailers such as Walmart and Target and has been well-received by collectors. Regarding the Hot Wheels Circuit Legends 2 set, no specific release date was found in the results. However, it is scheduled for release soon, featuring a Ferrari along with two Porsches and an ultra-rare Black Ferrari 499P Chase, marking a first for this special edition.
