Westfalenpark is gearing up for an exciting summer with the return of the PSD Bank Park Summer event, running from August 2nd to August 17th, 2025. This year, the event promises a host of new attractions and activities for children and families, making it an unmissable occasion for all.
The Rainbow House will be offering its own holiday program, filled with engaging activities for children and families. Details of this program can be found on the Westfalenpark website.
One of the highlights of the PSD Bank Park Summer is the children's flea market "Flohchen - from children for children," a new addition this year on August 17th, 2025. Children aged 8 to 14 will be selling well-preserved toys and books at this market. To secure a spot, online registration is required, which can be done at rathaus.dortmund.de/floehchen.
Other attractions include a bungee trampoline, bouncy castle, climbing tower, football field with ball band, and a playmobile rental selection. The popular circus tent will return, offering opportunities for children to try juggling, balancing, and other circus arts.
In addition to these attractions, daily varied additional actions include face painting, photo booth, dance and juggling workshops, ball speed measurement, giant dartboard, sports-themed Olympics, and the opportunity to earn the Dortmund Mini Sports Badge on August 5th and 6th, 2025.
The event transforms the Ruhrallee meadow into an action-packed area filled with play, fun, and creativity. Kindernothilfe e.V. will visit on August 9th, 2025, offering an interactive parcours on the topic of children's rights.
