Explore Lehy Hall: A Glimpse Inside

In the heart of Holy Cross College, Lehy Hall is home to a unique transformation. Room 420, shared by Ashley Dibendetto '27 and Antonia Melendez '27, has been transformed into a cosy and inviting home.

Both Ashley, hailing from Andover, MA, and Antonia, a resident of Worcester, MA, have worked together to create a home that feels like home. The colour scheme, a harmonious blend of pink and yellow, was chosen to keep the room warm and comforting. Descending fairy lights on both sides of the room add a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.

Music plays an essential role in Ashley's side of the home, helping her feel at peace. Here, you'll find photos of families, friends, and travel memories, including a sunset lamp and salt lamp. Antonia, on the other hand, has decorated her side with pictures of family and friends, and a beverage cart stocked with tea and hot cocoa.

The roommates have created a shared living home that they both find enjoyable and conducive to studying. Their pictures on the wall are arranged in a slightly symmetric way, giving an organized feeling while still maintaining diversity and coziness. A lamp in the corner of the home brings a warming light across the entire home.

Meanwhile, in another corner of Lehy Hall, Viveca Stucke '26 and Paige Thomson '26 have personalized their home to reflect their individual styles and interests. Viveca's side of the home sports a light blue colour scheme.

Elsewhere on campus, Sarah Obrycki '26, the Feature Editor for Vibe and the Resistant Assistant for Lehy 3 Upper, has been making her mark. Claudia Goldin, the Henry Lee Professor of Economics at Harvard University, was a guest speaker at Holy Cross College's Rehm Library on Sept. 26, 2023. On Oct. 9, 2023, Claudia was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics Science.

These transformations serve as a testament to the creativity and individuality of the students at Holy Cross College, turning dorm homes into personal sanctuaries that reflect their personalities and make them feel at home.
