Perleberg, Germany, is set to host the regional celebration, Brandenburg Day, on the 13th and 14th of September. The picturesque town, known as the "Pearl of the Elbe," boasts landmarks such as the St. Jacobi Church and the neo-Gothic town hall.

In the heart of Perleberg's historic old town, which boasts nearly 800 years of history, the Perleberg City and Regional Museum, or Museum Pearl, will open its doors for this special occasion. Due to limited exhibition space, a limited number of visitors will be admitted at a time.

Museum director Anja Poepplau invites visitors from near and far to explore the museum's offerings, which include a historical journey through various activities, such as Europe's largest wooden game and audio play performances by the Hoerturm Verein. Visitors can also expect guided tours through the permanent exhibition and the special exhibition "Blue Coat and Lance Tip."

The program will commence with a welcoming address by museum director Anja Poepplau at 11 am. Other highlights include stage performances, exhibitions, interactive activities, and guided tours at the Moenchort location.

The Brandenburg State Museum Association, the Sükower Landleben association, and the Magdeburg Hairdressing Museum will also be participating in the events. Students from the Gottfried-Arnold-Gymnasium will be present, and readings in Prignitzer Platt with Wolfgang Dost are part of the museum's program.

The Otto-von-Guericke Society from the neighboring state of Saxony-Anhalt will present historical experiments during Brandenburg Day.

For precise and up-to-date information about Museum Pearl's activities for Brandenburg Day, it would be best to consult the museum's official website or contact local tourist information in Perleberg directly. Museum Pearl promises that it is worth the wait to visit despite the limited visitor capacity.

So, mark your calendars and join the festivities in Perleberg for a memorable Brandenburg Day celebration!
