Domingos de Fiesta assumes control of the Fort Worth Stockyards
The Fort Worth Stockyards will play host to a lively monthly festival called Domingos de Fiesta, taking place on select Sundays in July and August 2025. The scheduled dates are: July 6, 27, August 10, 24, and 31, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
This community-funded event, a collaboration between Arts Access and The Dallas Morning News, offers a full day of dancing, music, and family fun. The event is held at the Exchange Lawn, Fort Worth Livestock Exchange, 131 E. Exchange Ave., Fort Worth.
The event is a cultural celebration, welcoming families and the community to enjoy traditional Latin music and dance in an iconic Western setting. Music genres include Norteñas, Cumbias, Banda, Corridos, and Country, providing a rich Latin music experience with a Texas twist.
The festivities encourage dancing and celebration with live Latin music, creating a festive atmosphere every Sunday it occurs. For those seeking a unique experience, a Trinity River Train Excursion is available for $10, offering a 45-minute ride along the Trinity.
Apart from the music, there is a variety of free entertainment to enjoy, including the Old West gunfight show Legends of Texas, Fort Worth Herd cattle drives, comedy shows, Cowtown Opry, and more. Viva Vaquero serves food, including burgers, sausage, jumbo dogs, and a Buckaroo Burger with grilled jalapenos and pico de gallo.
Drink specials include $5 margaritas, Michelob Ultra drafts, Busch Light drafts, and Bud Light Cheladas. DJ Luv will be spinning music at the event, adding to the lively atmosphere.
