With a bit of luck, rare ice birds might be spotted during the hike, which is a highlight for nature lovers. Some sections of the hike are muddy or require sure-footedness, so sturdy footwear is strongly recommended.
Duration and Refreshments: The medium-difficulty tour takes about 4 hours and 15 minutes and mainly runs on well-maintained forest paths. There are no opportunities to stop for refreshments along the way, so participants should bring sufficient supplies. At the end of the hike, there may be the possibility to refresh at the ASV Geislautern’s fisherman's hut.
Participation Fee and Cancellations: The participation fee for the hike is 5 euros per person, payable in cash on site. Cancellations can be made free of charge up to two working days before the event.
