Government leaders including Minister President Manuela Schwesig (SPD) have shown their enthusiasm for Ludwigslust. Schwesig praises the graceful city, stating, "This stunning city has truly flourished under our watch. We're investing in renovating the castle, preserving a historical treasure that will attract visitors."

First celebrated in 2000 in Mühlengeez, the MV Days mark the 16th time this state festival will take place. Unlike earlier years when the festivals occurred annually, they have since switched to a biannual schedule. Regrettably, the MV Days were canceled during the Corona pandemic.
This year, the esteemed university and Hanseatic city of Greifswald welcomes the 15th state festival. The theme for this year's affair is "Tradition, Innovation, Diversity." From June 20th to 22nd, numerous institutions, associations, clubs, and cultural creators will showcase their offerings across the city.
Experience the magic of Midsummer weekend in Greifswald! The MV Day’s festivities will intertwine with the Bach Week and Fête de la Musique. For the first time ever, the state sports games of the state sports association will accompany the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Day, making this event one for the history books!
