When's the Jam?

Grab your tools and come join us every Thursday evening!

For veterans seeking a peaceful, project-focused atmosphere, or newcomers wanting to hone their woodcraft skills, our craft night welcomes one and all! This week, let's create stunning pendant pieces from unique wooden findings. 🌳

Woodworking masters have carved spoons, sculpted mushrooms, constructed jewelry, fashioned shrinkpots, braided cordage, and even built stools–all within our crafting community. No idea is too wild! Drop by our craft area, adorned with work benches, shave horses, and blocks, where select tools will be available to borrow, and coppiced wood will be readily available for use (large quantities or planked wood may require advance ordering and fees).

Here's the lowdown:

It's for adults and adventurous 14+ year-olds. Under 18s must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

Bring your favorite hot beverage in a reusable mug, and contribute to our potluck stew with a packed meal or chopped veggies. Dessert lovers, we welcome your homemade treats to share!

Don your sturdy shoes and make sure to wear them comfortably as we tinker, chat, and craft the night away.

It’s taking place every two weeks throughout spring and summer. These happen on the following dates:

  1. June 19 – Pendants
  2. July 10 – Mushrooms
  3. July 24 – Teaspoons
  4. August 7 – 6pm start – Skulk of Foxes
  5. August 21 (September dates TBC)

Attendance Fee:For regular attendees who have their own projects, the cost is £10. Fresh Timberfolk can participate in our weekly demonstrations for a small fee.
