Continuing search for pianos and keyboard components
Get ready for a unique musical event that will take over the city centre of Pforzheim from June 15 to July 13, 2024. The Play me! PF participatory action is back for its fourth time, inviting music enthusiasts to join in the festivities.
For those who love playing the piano, the event offers a wonderful opportunity to sit at the keys and create music in accessible public spaces. No prior registration is required for casual players – just visit the designated locations and let the music flow!
If you'd like to contribute to this musical extravaganza, you can offer a piano for the event. To do so, simply reach out to the organisers, the Eigenbetrieb Wirtschaft and Stadtmarketing Pforzheim (WSP), Schlaile GmbH, and musik-city Steinbrecher GmbH & Co. KG. Ensure your piano is in playable condition and make arrangements for delivery and tuning. The organisers may have criteria regarding the piano's quality, safety, and location suitability.
In addition to providing a piano, you can also become a piano patron (sponsor or donor) to support the event financially or otherwise. Patrons help cover costs such as piano transport, tuning, maintenance, and event promotion. In return, patrons may receive recognition or involvement in event activities.

Remember, the pianos will be checked for playability by a specialist, so if you have an old, playable piano to donate, the WSP would be delighted to accept it for the event. The respective company must be accessible to everyone during opening hours.
