Construction of a new neighborhood planned by authorities in Shabanah township

In the heart of Minsk's Zavodski District, a significant urban development project is underway. The territory, bounded by R. Ratomska, A. Bachilo, S. Selitskogo, and P. Partyzanski Ave., is set to undergo a transformation.

Two multifunctional public-trade complexes will be constructed, one at the intersection of P. Partyzanski Ave. and S. Selitskogo St., and the other along P. Partyzanski Ave. itself. These new structures will be built on previously undeveloped land or on sites vacated by other buildings, ensuring minimal disruption to the existing landscape.

Existing enterprises, including "Stroitelno-Montazhnyi Trust No8", "Minskautotrans", and "Minsktrans", will be relocated to make way for the development. However, the affected companies being relocated due to the revitalization of Minsk's Shabany district have not been publicly named.

The urban development plan includes a variety of facilities, such as parking lots and garages, as well as landscaping to maintain a green and welcoming environment. Notably, the development will not directly involve the area including the memorial center for the former Trostenets death camp, a site of historical and cultural value.

The city authorities have made it clear that they plan to develop the area near the memorial center in the future, but for now, the focus remains on the Shabany district. In place of the current structures, high-density, multi-story residential complexes will be constructed, contributing to the growth and modernisation of Minsk.

It is important to note that the development decision has been published on the National Legal Portal of Belarus, ensuring transparency and accountability in the process. This project marks an exciting step forward for Minsk's urban development, balancing progress with respect for historical and cultural significance.
