A Strip-Down Political Expedition: Mannheim Councilor Has 22 Party-Goers for FKK Trip to France

In an unusual move, Mannheim city councilor Julien Ferrat (Die Mannheimer) is planning an FKK swinger holiday in France, and he's got support from all corners of Germany. With 22 confirmed attendees and a further 53 showing interest, Ferrat is set to party in style.

After the deadline for his "FKK swinger holiday with a political twist" passed, Ferrat admits he's satisfied with the responses. He's got 22 confirmed participants, he says. The total number of people who've expressed interest stands at 75, with a few still figuring out if they can take time off from work.

In terms of binding confirmations, six people are from Mannheim, three from the neighboring Rhine-Neckar district, and two from the Rhine-Palatinate district. The rest hail from all over Germany. "Our group is a diverse one, with 14 men and 8 women," Ferrat beams.

Headlines "More citizen proximity goes out the window" - Mannheim city councilor plans sex vacation with nudists Ferrat placed an ad in the official gazette in mid-May, inviting citizens on a "political education trip" to Cap d'Agde. The coastal French town is home to the FKK resort Village Naturiste. A photo accompanying the article showed Ferrat naked on the beach - he only covered his private parts with a sign that read "Die Mannheimer in city council." Ferrat plans eight days in France in August. Each participant will foot their own travel costs.

Ferrat has already booked a hut for ten people in the FKK resort. He hopes to accommodate Mannheimers there. He wishes to connect non-Mannheimers so they can rent their own accommodation.

The 33-year-old Ferrat is a sole councilor, a graduate social scientist, and an active player in the online retail industry. He chooses not to reveal more about his professional activities.

The CDU Isn't Impressed

Headlines Educational trip for Mannheim FKK holiday - Local politician seeks participants The CDU sharply criticized the contribution in the official gazette. "I find the call at this point brainless, because I believe it rather harms politics," said Christian Hötting, CDU district chairman in Mannheim and city councilor. The city administration refrained from commenting on the contribution.

Before the trip to France, there will also be the "training camp with outdoor sex on the FKK beach" in Mannheim, as already announced in the ad. This will take place without media coverage. "On one hand, it's about protecting the privacy of the participants. On the other hand, we want to prepare for the eight days of endurance sports undisturbed. We want to arrive at Cap d'Agde as a well-oiled team and deliver our best during the eight days," said Ferrat.

Insights - This unconventional approach has sparked a debate about the ethics and appropriateness of city councilors organizing events with sexual themes. Some view it as a unique engagement strategy, while others question its suitability. Ferrat's openness towards inexperienced participants and his efforts to develop a similar project in Mannheim are key aspects of this initiative. The trip's combination of leisure and political discussions, along with the privacy concerns surrounding the "training camp," adds novelty to the concept.

  1. The Mannheim city councilor, Julien Ferrat, is drawing criticism over his employment policy for an unusual "political education trip" to France, which includes an FKK swinger holiday and a "training camp with outdoor sex," raising questions about community policy and ethical appropriateness in political engagements.
  2. As Ferrat prepares for his outdoor-living FKK holiday in France, he is transforming his home-and-garden into a training ground for endurance sports, emphasizing lifestyle changes and fostering a sense of community among participants, while maintaining privacy for those involved.
