Celebration of Radiant Nights
The Festival of Lights, a much-anticipated annual event in Berlin, is set to return for its 21st edition from October 8 to 15, 2025. Under the patronage of the governing mayor of Berlin, the festival will once again light up the city with a dazzling display of light art installations and live concerts.
The motto for this year's event is "Let's Shine Together", encapsulating the spirit of unity and celebration that the festival embodies. The Festival of Lights will see numerous buildings and squares in Berlin bathed in a kaleidoscope of colours, with Bebelplatz and Potsdamer Platz being some of the most impressive locations.
In addition to the stunning light installations, the Festival of Lights in Concert will take place at the Berlin Cathedral. This year's lineup includes well-known artists such as Alle Farben on October 11 and Henrik Schwarz & Bugge Wesseltoft on October 14. In total, nine concerts by international artists will be held over five evenings, promising an unforgettable musical experience.
The festival officially begins each evening at 7 pm with the illuminations of landmarks and buildings being switched on. The images displayed are a testament to the festival's success over the years, with those from the years 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2020 on show.
