"Celebrating half a century of holiday events in Gütersloh with the Miele Foundation - another triumphant endeavor"
Get ready for an exciting autumn as the much-anticipated holiday games return to the city of Gütersloh! The event, organised by the Miele-Stiftung, will begin registration on Monday, September 15, 2025. Registration will be open until Thursday, September 25.
The holiday games have been a consistent source of unforgettable moments for multiple generations, offering a comprehensive program for children and young people. This year, the games will feature a diverse range of activities, excursions, and creative offers, catering to every taste and inclination.
Young people aged 12 and above will have the opportunity to visit the Miele company's training workshop for technical adventures. Here, they can explore stations for electronics and metal, gaining hands-on experience in these fields. For those aged 8 to 12, the "The Forest and Its Culture" course will allow them to create land art projects using natural materials in the Rhedaer Forest.
Children aged 10 and above will particularly enjoy an excursion to Paderborn Airport, where they can watch take-offs and landings.
All local offers during the holiday games will be free of charge, thanks to the Miele Foundation's support. The foundation has been instrumental in providing free holiday experiences for the city's children and young people for over five decades.
Interested parties can contact Nadine Becker-Kleinemas at the municipal department of youth and family for questions or other inquiries. The telephone number is 05241 / 82-3333, and the email address is frnsplgtrslhd.
The program for the autumn holiday games will go online on Monday, September 15, at www.ourwebsite.ferienspiele. So, mark your calendars and get ready for an autumn full of fun and learning!
