Cats Saved from a Canal Near Municipal Building

In a heartwarming turn of events, two young cats were found trapped in a sewage canal in our community. The incident unfolded when a public official heard persistent cat cries in a specific location. Officers from the public order department were quickly dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, the officers searched the area diligently for the source of the cries. After some time, it was discovered that the cries were indeed coming from the sewage canal. One officer bravely descended into the canal and, after a thorough search, managed to locate the two cats.

The cats were carefully removed from the canal and placed in a box. They were then handed over to an animal rescue service, who are currently caring for them. The method of how the cats ended up in the sewage canal remains unclear.

While it's not unheard of for exotic pets to be abandoned in sewers or similar locations, there is no direct claim that specific individuals have placed cats into the sewer system in this case. However, it's a reminder to all pet owners to ensure they can properly care for their pets and not to abandon them in harmful situations.

We're glad to report that the two cats are currently receiving the care they need and are on the road to recovery. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of animal welfare and the role our local authorities play in ensuring the safety and well-being of all creatures in our community.
