Inline Skating Enthusiasts Gather for BladeNight Munich
As the weather warms up in Munich, skaters of all ages are invited to participate in BladeNight Munich, an exciting event that takes place every Monday evening from May until September. Organized by SkateMunich e.V., the event offers a chance to skate through the city streets while enjoying a unique experience. The first BladeNight of the year will take place on May 5th, continuing weekly until September 15th.
Family-Friendly Event
The event is suitable for anyone who can confidently stand on inline skates. From braking courses to different tracks for beginners and advanced skaters, there's something for everyone. The family track, in particular, caters to the youngest skaters. On May 5th, BladeNight kicks off the new season with food and drinks available from 6:00 PM at the Bavariapark (U5 Schwanthalerhöhe). A free braking course will be offered at 7:30 PM, followed by the official start of the event at 9:00 PM.
Safety Priorities
The safety of participants is a top priority for the event organizers, who require all attendees to wear helmets. Skateboards are not allowed due to safety concerns. Additionally, participants are advised to keep the left side free for BladeGuards, and to raise both hands if there is any danger on the course.
