Bielefeld Police's 'But Safe' Puppet Show Teaches Traffic Safety to 5,000 Children

Bielefeld's police officers are entertaining and educating children with their puppet show, 'BUT SAFE', performed from October to February at Lerchenstraße. The show, which has reached around 5,000 children since 2022, teaches safe traffic behaviour in a fun and engaging way.

The show, written by the officers themselves, adapts its length between 35 to 45 minutes based on the children's reactions. Tina Bors, Ansgar Schubert, and Andreas, who joined the team in November 2022, bring the puppets to life, ensuring each performance is unique with new gags added. The show takes place in a room at Lerchenstraße with four game levels, providing an interactive experience for the young audience.

Since 2022, the puppet show by Bielefeld police officers has successfully reached around 5,000 children, instilling important traffic safety lessons while keeping them entertained. The show's adaptability and evolving content ensure it remains fresh and engaging for both children and performers.
