"Bensberg's Community Joy Hub" at the town hall gathers small moments of bliss
On September 19, 2025, at 5 PM, the Bensberg Town Hall will play host to a unique and thought-provoking exhibition titled "The Small World of Small Luck" by author and painter Ramona Tunze. This project, a captivating blend of literature and painting, invites readers and viewers to pause and enjoy the small, often overlooked joys of life. The exhibition, located at Wilhelm-Wagner-Platz 15, 51429 Bergisch Gladbach, will run until mid-November. Ramona Tunze, who has published three books and is currently working on a fourth, will provide the musical framework for the exhibition with thematically adapted songs. Accompanying her on the guitar is Heinz Nußbaum, whose name has yet to be made publicly available. Each book in the project is accompanied by a handmade acrylic painting, with the illustrations of her fairy tales and stories visually conveying the messages of the texts on canvas. The paintings, independent works on canvas, will be displayed in the exhibition. The project aims to promote the power of contemplation, the value of gratitude, and the beauty in returning to simplicity. It is a celebration of small, everyday moments that often go unnoticed yet hold immense significance.
