At Krasnodar's Galitsky Park, head counting is the norm for visitors, leading to a lengthy, sweaty queue for the Japanese garden.
In Krasnodar's Galitsky Park, the arrival of summer coincides with the reemergence of substantial queues outside the Japanese Garden, leaving tourists and residents alike enduring hours-long waits for entry. The lack of essential amenities, such as water points, toilets, and adequate shade, compounds the issue, as the Kuban capital swelters under the scorching sun.
Park personnel have placed an employee near the entrance to help with QR code pickup, yet this measure does little to alleviate the situation as anxious visitors continue to cause tension. In some cases, whispers of buying QR codes from scalpers can be overheard.
However, the park administration is working to combat QR code scalping, issuing no more than two tickets per QR and checking every visitor at the entrance. A Kazakh tourist informed our correspondent, Ekaterina Ershova, that they were literally counted head by head.
After enduring lengthy queues, visitors are granted entry to the garden. Although numerous waterfalls and streamsdot the landscape, the intense heat still makes exploring uncomfortable. The restaurant within the garden's premises is consistently bustling from morning till evening as guests seek refuge from the sweltering heat.
A resident of Estonia, also encountered by our correspondent, praised the park, stating it was an oasis of serenity and tranquility. Despite these accolades, they acknowledged witnessing attempts to cut lines earlier, leading to tense exchanges among visitors.
A previous report by "Live Kuban" detailed the formation of a massive queue for tickets to the football match between "Krasnodar" and "Dinamo".
By implementing strategies such as improving queuing management, enhancing amenities, addressing the heat issue, integrating technology, increasing accessibility, and engaging the community, Galitsky Park could significantly improve its visitors' summer experiences.
