Apple Festival Returns to Wiesbaden's Schlossplatz on October 4-5, 2024
Mark your calendars for the Apple Festival, returning to Wiesbaden's Schlossplatz on October 4th and 5th, 2024. This free, two-day event promises a delightful celebration of all things apple, from juice to cake to wine, and much more.
Kicking off at 10 am each day, the festival offers a variety of activities. Visitors can try their hand at making apple juice using a traditional press, or indulge in some apple-themed shopping with stands selling accessories like doormats and Bembel. Musical entertainment will be provided by Captain Bembel & the Feingerippten on Friday at 3 pm.
The highlight of the festival is the apple cake competition, the first Wiesbaden edition of 'The Great Bake Off'. The winner will receive a gift certificate. Meanwhile, apple wine enthusiasts can enjoy a glass served traditionally in Geripptes.
Bierstadter Bembelfee Conny I. will make an appearance around 4 pm on Friday, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The Apple Festival runs from 10 am to 5 pm on both days, offering a fun-filled weekend for all. Organized by the city of Wiesbaden as part of its local festival events, admission is free, ensuring a delightful experience for everyone.
