Booze Up in Freiburg's Wine Carnival!
Mark your calendars, wine lovers! From July 3rd to 8th, 2025, Freiburg Münsterplatz will transform into a boozy paradise, hosting none other than the Freiburg Wine Festival. Organized by the Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG (FWTM), this six-day extravaganza promises a delightful celebration of local viticulture, featuring over 400 tantalizing wines and bubbly drinks from around 60 regional producers.
Satisfy your taste buds with a smorgasbord of culinary delights from no less than 13 eateries and snack bars, complementing the libations on offer. The festival's event area is divided into eleven enticing zones, with an assortment of winegrowers, cooperatives, and wineries showcasing their delectable creations, including the Tuniberg-Wein e. V., Villa Pinot, and Alte Wache - House of Baden Wines.
As a cherry on top, a fundraising campaign will be orchestrated in 2025, where 10 cents from every sold wine glass (€3) will be donated to preserve the magnificent Freiburg Münster.

The Festival's Opening Hours:
- Thursday, Sunday to Tuesday: 5 PM to 12 AM
- Friday and Saturday: 5 PM to 1 AM

During the event week, you can still swing by the Freiburg Münster Market, running Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and Saturdays until 2 PM. Keep in mind that some market stalls may be temporarily relocated to accommodate the festivities.
