Alpina's Seastrong Diver taps into retro appeal while exuding modern power, showcasing vintage charm blended with raw strength.
New Seastrong Diver Extreme Watches Debut with Two Color Variants
Alpina has unveiled two new color variants of its Seastrong Diver Extreme collection, offering watch enthusiasts a fresh take on one of Alpina's most capable news watches.
The new Seastrong Diver Extreme watches retain the angular design that took the collection in a new direction last year, borrowing the signature cushion-shaped case from Alpina's land-based Alpiner Extreme series. The case size remains at a robust 39mm, while the case thickness measures 12.65mm. The lug-to-lug measurement is 40.5mm, providing a comfortable fit for most wrists.
The case is crafted from high-quality stainless steel, ensuring durability and longevity. The screw-down crown, protected by guards on either side, adds to the watch's water resistance, which remains at a robust 300m.
Powering the new Seastrong Diver Extreme watches is Alpina's AL-525 movement, a self-winding mechanism based on the Sellita SW200. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800vph and boasts a 38-hour power reserve.
The new variants offer a choice between a sandblasted black dial (ref. AL-525B3VE6) or a grain-textured khaki option (ref. AL-525K3VE6). Both new variants feature "Old Radium" Super-LumiNova across the dial, mimicking the patina of vintage tritium or radium. The date window at 6 o'clock is equipped with its own luminous strip for underwater readability.
The unidirectional ceramic bezel on the Seastrong Diver Extreme features chunky notches, making it easy to use, even for those wearing gloves. Both new variants come with a black leather strap equipped with a folding clasp.
The Seastrong Diver Extreme collection has earned a reputation as one of Alpina's most capable news watches. Priced at $2,588, the new Seastrong Diver Extreme watches are available now from Alpina's website. However, the search results do not provide the name of the designer or developer team responsible for creating the two new color variants of the Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme. Additionally, the Seastrong Diver Extreme watches do not have a limited edition status.
