Albuquerque BioPark Unveils 'Lebanon and Beyond' Garden
Albuquerque BioPark's Botanic Garden has opened a unique attraction: the 'Lebanon and Beyond' garden, the first of its kind in the nation. Unveiled on Thursday, this half-acre space replaces the old Mediterranean garden and showcases olive and fig trees.
Despite extensive research, the names of the architect and gardener responsible for designing this new space remain unknown. The garden is a celebration of Lebanese culture and heritage, offering a taste of the Mediterranean in the heart of Albuquerque.
Visitors can now enjoy a tranquil retreat filled with the scent of olive and fig trees, a reminder of the rich biodiversity found in Lebanon and its surrounding regions.
The 'Lebanon and Beyond' garden is a welcome addition to the Albuquerque BioPark's Botanic Garden, providing a new experience for visitors while honoring Lebanese culture. Although the creators remain unidentified, their work has transformed the space into a peaceful oasis.
